Missing you a little extra today.
I miss you every day, Mommy <3
Mimi and I have been neighbors for years. She always had the biggest smile on her face when ever we would see each other. Every morning when I left for work I would pass her getting ready to take her son to the bus stop. No matter how early is was she always did her cute hello by waving her hand really fast and smiling at the same time. Whenever my family was out of town she would get our mail and I would return the favor. Mimi is going to be truly missed. Your family will always be in my thoughts and prayers.
Your purpose in life is to find your purpose and give your whole heart and soul to it.” – Buddha
I feel the above quote embodies MiMi. She was one of the nicest people I have ever met. We first met when our sons were in elementary school and she was one of the first person that was always willing to help. She always put her family first and she gave her whole heart and soul.

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Cong Huyen Ton Nu Tuy van in a personal way, however, I did see her a few times tending to her flower garden as I drove by her home. It would always strike me how careful she was with the flowers and how serene she looked as the cars sped by. It always impressed me that she was able to carve out a peaceful space of her own. And yet, we all got to enjoy the lovely flowers in front of her home. She clearly brought beauty to her home with intention and patience.
Several months I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Nguyen, she took hours out of her day to prepare us one of the best meals I have ever had. I was touched by the fact that someone I had only met briefly in passing worked so hard to provide me with a good meal. She gave so freely. I know from stories she was that way in all aspects of her life. I know she will be watching over her beautiful family forever.
