We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. The loss of a son also is a part of yourself that you have lost. It is hard to be strong even when you know how brave Danny was and that he is now having no pain. Hold tight to Evie and your wonderful memories. No words anybody says will fill the void. Just know that many that knew Danny and your family want to do all they can to help you through this time. I was so glad I could be with you in the hospital. We all feel your pain and loss and wish we could do more to help your family through this time. Danny will never be gone.
