David Alan Peach's Obituary
David Peach, 74, died Tuesday, September 1, 2015 in Gainesville, Virginia. David was born on December 21, 1940 in Steubenville, OH. He was the oldest of six children. He graduated from Ohio University and Harvard with a Bachelor’s, MBA, and Doctorate of Business Administration. In 1966, while in graduate school in Boston, he met his wife Janet. Throughout his career, he taught and administered business and management programs at the University of Western Ontario and Cal Poly until his retirement in 2005. Mr. Peach is survived by his wife Janet, daughter Megan of Ashburn VA, son Michael of Chapel Hill NC, and three grandchildren. His funeral service will be held Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. David's Episcopal Church in Ashburn VA, followed by an internment at Union Cemetery in Leesburg VA. His family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Dave Peach Teaching Award in Management at the Orfalea College of Business at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
