Dave and I worked together for about 6 years. He would always come over to see me each morning. We both trash talked most of the time, and he would treat me to a banana every morning for breakfast. If I didn’t see him I would check to see what was taking him so long, and he told me I was spoiled. We laugh and joked all the time, he was a well respected person. We both had the love for basketball and football. He being a Dukie and me a Hoya fan, the competence would not end, when football season roll in our friendship boil like a tea kettle flute soaring; the rally between Redskins/Cowboys and you can figure out who loved who. And with all this being shared, Dave my buddy my friend rest in peace and I hope to see you again someday. You are missed already, but God answers all things and I know we will cross each others path again someday. God bless you and your family in this time of need. I had the great pleasure of working with Dave for the last six years. During that time, Dave and I developed a great friendship that I will always remember. The values he had for his family, friends, and this country were second to none. Rest in peace – The Tobin Family##imported-begin##Cordell##imported-end##

I was sorry to hear of Dave's passing. We worked together in the mid 1980's. He was a true profssional. He enjoyed life and made firends easily. I was proud to be one of his friends.##imported-begin##Jim Vital##imported-end##
Anecdotes: First time playing golf with Dave, circa 1986, I lifted his golf bag and almost fell over because of its weight. Dave must have had 300-400 golf balls in it that he'd been collecting for years.!!! He chuckled and said you can never have too many! South American capital city circa 1989: despite bombs going off in city, Dave and I strolled to a major hotel to watch the Redskins/Denver Superbowl. That was really hard for Dave given his great passion for the Cowboys. After the Redskins won Dave said the victoy should have been the Cowboys. Loyal forever!!
