Debbie, you were my vet in early 1987 when I first moved to CountrySide. From then until the mid-1990s you provided TLC to our animals and pets. I remember in particular my cat Chelsea got breast cancer, which you said was almost always fatal in cats. We did the surgery anyway and I had her for four more wonderful years...
We only left the practice reluctantly, because you all were so busy that we could never get in, or so it seemed, and were planning a move to Western Loudoun. Then, your family also moved to Lovettsville and we found the same church home.
You taught my younger daughter Kelley Sunday School and she loved you dearly. She was also good friends with your son Mike. My one regret is that I did not get to know you better. Between your illness and mine, we didn't have much time together. I am certain that I really missed out on a LOT. Your family will be in our hearts, our thoughts and our prayers, and we, your church family will take good care of them.
with love, Karen##imported-begin##Karen Hausfeld##imported-end##
