I had the privilege of working with Diane at Inova Loudoun Hospital. Diane was a wealth of knowledge and experience from various roles and always happy to help address any questions on any topic. Her humble nature really made her a true gem of a person. I enjoyed helping her at the few technological challenges for streamlining her work for which she was always very appreciative. At our department huddles, Diane loved to share ice-breakers with stories about her cats and her retirement plans to a beach in FL. Diane will be missed! Rest in peace.

My condolences and wishes of peace to Diane's family. Some who knew Diane from her Inova days may not post here, but comments on Facebook are representative of fond memories, a helpful attitude, friendliness, intelligence, a strong work ethic, a quick wit, and a wonderful sense of humor. I remember her connection with Susan Tanner and their trips to Florida - sort of like Thelma and Louise... and her love of her feline friends. Many, many feathers for her wings... An angel on Earth and one in Heaven now too.

I had the privilege of working with Diane both at Fair Oaks and at Loudoun Hospitals. Diane was a joy to work with and I always looked forward to her visits. She loved what she did and brought such great energy to her work. I appreciated her willingness to pitch in and help in any way she could. She made work fun and there wasn't anything she didn't know. She was super smart and if she didn't know the answer, she knew how to find the answer. She will be missed by so many of us. Rest in peace my friend. I feel truly blessed to have known you.

I worked with Diane in my role in Patient Relations. I always appreciated her help and insight. She helped me through some really tough cases, which I appreciated so much! I am shocked and so sad to hear of her passing. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

I worked with Diane when she was the Risk Manager for Inova Fair Oaks Hospital and then when she moved to Regulatory for the Western Region and was often at IFOH. I loved working with Diane. She had a delightful sense of humor, she was a wonderful teacher, and she was a woman grounded in integrity. She was kind when helping me prepare for Regulatory visits and she was a fantastic soundboard to talk through difficult cases. I will truly miss her.
