Donald Lee Garrett's Obituary
DONALD LEE GARRETT, 80 of Lovettsville, Virginia passed on Friday, January 20, 2023, at his home in Lovettsville, Virginia.
Born Wednesday, November 11, 1942, in Houston, Texas, he was the son of the late James Porter Garrett and the late Emma Duplechain Garrett.
Donald is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kay Crawford Garrett, daughters: Angela Hunziker and Bonnie Banks (Kelly Banks, spouse), son: Alex Garrett (Christy Garrett-spouse), grandchildren: Logan Garrett, Olivia Banks, Makinley Hunziker, Gracie Garrett, Victoria Banks, Kaylee Garrett, Aubrey Garrett and Tage Garrett.
Donald retired from sales at Safeware, Inc. He enjoyed visiting his customers whom he built lasting relationships with. In his spare time, he was an avid bird watcher and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
A Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Lovettsville Union Cemetery. The committal will be followed by a celebration of life at New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 12942 Lutheran Church Rd, Lovettsville, VA 20180.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made in Donald's honor to The Parkinson Foundation.
