Dear Linda, Dale, Cathy, Julie and families---
I was very saddened to learn of the passing of your Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for your family’s loss.
It seems like I have always known your family. From our days as children and teenagers attending Sunday School, Church and Vacation Bible School together at the Guilford Baptist Church in Sterling, to our days of attending school together, memories of the Poland family goes way back in my mind. For as long as I can remember, there has always been a Curtis and Dorothy Poland and family.
While many years have passed since I last saw your Mother, I will always remember what a dear, sweet, kind and lovely lady she was, who always had a smile on her face. While losing a loved one (especially your Mother) can be difficult, there is comfort in knowing that she is now at rest in heaven and rejoicing with all of her loved ones who have gone on before her. She was a godly woman who lived a Christ-like life in everything she did, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this time. It is my sincere prayer that God will comfort you and give you strength in the days ahead. With deepest sympathy.
