Eugene Repass' Obituary
Eugene “Gene” Repass 92 of Sterling, VA passed away Thursday May 16,2024 at Potomac Falls Heath & Rehab.
Born on March 7, 1932 in Burkes Garden VA, Then residing in Sterling, VA. He was one of 10 children born to the late James Bundy Repass and Nannie Rose Hall Repass. He is predeceased by former wife Betty L Massie Repass and son Gary Eugene. Six brothers, Jim Repass, Alex Repass, Hubert ‘Fuzzy” Repass, Bobby Repass, Roger Repass, Joe Repass, one sister Dolly Jamison Rhodes and former wife Helen Lyons Repass.
Gene is survived by two daughters Kim Dill (David) of Lorton VA, Cathy Repass (Tracey Snead & Family) of Leesburg, VA.
Two sisters, Nancy Rutherford of Clifton, VA and Margaret Maclaine of Hamilton, VA, one sister-in-law Pauline Repass of Floyd, VA.
Gene was a devoted father, brother, uncle to many nieces & nephews, great nieces and nephews.
He had quite a few great loves in his life! His family first and foremost, telling jokes, Bluegrass music, The Washington Nationals, his many Cocker Spaniels over the years and his old TV shows, Matlock, Andy Griffith and any old western.
In Gene’s early years he drove a milk truck making deliveries all over Loudoun County to farms that are now just a memory. He then started a career with E.E. Lyons Construction in Vienna VA where he worked for most of his adult life making many friends along that journey.
Even in the end he remained grateful for the people in his life and never lost his sense of humor.
Funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the Loudoun County Animal Shelter or Capital Caring Hospice .
