Evelyn was remarkable in so many ways. From devoted mother and wife to her professional career in public education she brought talent, grace, and commitment to every aspect of her life. As my colleague I could always depend on her honest assessments to be sure that everything we did was in the best interests of the students we served. I was blessed to know her, and I am grateful that her 25 year medical struggle has come to an end. She now rests in peace with her beloved husband. Edgar Hatrick
