Tom was my good friend. And his family, by extension, now fills that void created by his departure.
Through high school we had that "chum" relationship, but really became good 'buds' during our work together in 63-64 at Hazelton Labs. Tom and I were working together the day our President was shot & killed in Dallas; we doubled-dated because Tom had the best car and always had one of his girlfriends ask a friend to go out with me; he patiently taught me car care tips and logic I still call upon today.
But his strength, as a big man, was his character, loyalty to his family and doing the right thing always.
We miss you, Buddy, but can never forget the smile and graciousness of your person. As you said to me many times,
"you got that right!"##imported-begin##Dave Squires##imported-end##
