Floyd Thomas Pearson's Obituary
FLOYD THOMAS PEARSON, 63, a life long resident of Lovettsville, Virginia, died on Sunday September 28, 2008 in Leesburg, Virginia. Mr. Pearson was born in Lovettsville to the late Floyd and Alma Arnold Pearson. Two sisters, Charlotte Holdrich and Janet Pearson, also predeceased Tom. He has always had a passion for cars and drag racing. Mr. Pearson began wholesaling cars in 1977 with his business Valley Auto Center. He had been working with VDOT since 1992 and was presently the automotive repair manager at the Leesburg shop. Mr. Pearson will be remembered as a strong, caring man with a wonderful sense of humor.
Mr. Pearson is survived by his wife of 40 years Carolyn Sue Pearson of Lovettsville; two daughters: Tracey Pearson of Warrenton, VA, Cathy and husband Eric Kellon and there son, Owen Kellen, of Portland, Oregon; sister: Edna Pond of Stephens City, VA; great grandson: Owen Kellon and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the Brown/Loudoun Funeral Chapels at 34 East Broad Way, Lovettsville, VA on Friday October 3, 2008 for a memorial visitation from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday October 4th at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in Lovettsville with Rev. Marty Hager officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
