Fred's and Mona's unit is just down the hallway from ours. I didn't know Fred well, but I will always remember that he impressed me as a gentleman, or more precisely, a gentle man. Our occasions to interact were brief elevator rides and visits to the trash room! My wife Terry and I will miss his welcome presence in our hallway and building, and we give our sincere condolences to Mona and Fred's family. Villages at Broadlands will miss Fred.

Fred always brighten my day when Mona would send him to my condo with food she had made for me. He made me laugh and I think I made him laugh. Thoughts and prayers are with the family. Looking forward to the day when there will be no more death or sorrow.
