Rusty and I were so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. His efforts on behalf of Lucketts knew no bounds. All musicians who have had the honor of performing at the wonderful Lucketts venue owe him a great debt of graditude and will miss being in his company. Patent Pending's engagement there this past April 24th, found Gene sitting beside the sound system, I always went out of my way to speak to him, as he had a great way of making me laugh with a good tease!
