Lovettsville has lost a giant. His knowledge of Lovettsville's history will be sorely missed. My mother, Evelyn George worked with Glenn for many years at the post office and I know they are now talking in heaven about old times. The world was made a better place with Glenn in it.

My wife and I learned to know the Grove family many years ago during the time of the Jubilator's Quartet. They followed us to many, many concerts and when they weren't there it felt like there was a void in our concert. We want to express our sincere condolences during this time but rest assured that Glenn is in a much better place than this earth could ever be. We used to sing a song that said "we've got more to go to heaven for than we had yesterday." That song holds a much deeper meaning now. I knew Mr. Grove as the Post Master in Lovettsville when I was a kid. I knew him to be someone that lived in Lovettsville for a long time and his daughter was in the same grade as my older sister. So many of the older generation moving on as did my Dad and Mom. I hope the family has good memories and all our loved ones meet in Heaven. Nancy Reed Large
