Glenn L. Grove's Obituary
Mr. Glenn L. Grove, 93 lifelong resident of Lovettsville, Virginia passed away at home on Saturday, March 25, 2017.
Retired postmaster of Lovettsville, Virginia and former funeral director’s assistant for Brown Funeral Home, and Brown/Loudoun Funeral Chapel of Lovettsville and Leesburg, VA.
Glenn began assisting in the funeral home business at the age of 16 and continued as a valued employee and friend for nearly 70 years. After high school, Mr. Grove went on to serve his country in the US Army, during WWII, as a Surgical Tech stationed in England.
He was a member of Rosemont Alliance Church in Brunswick, MD.
He leaves his family to cherish his memory including his beloved wife Betty of 74 years, his daughter and son in law Marsha and Jimmy Riley of Lovettsville, VA, his grandson Chris Riley, granddaughter Kristin Riley both of Lovettsville, sisters, Elaine Jones and Norma Stewart both of OH; and a very special nephew Kenny Eshbaugh of Boonsboro, MD.
Graveside services will be held privately Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Lovettsville Union Cemetery with the Rev. Roland England officiating.
