Anne was a special friend who brought joy to our hearts, and reinforced the importance of faith, family and friends. We also shared the best recipes.

One of the many memories we cherish, the time Anne and Smitty came to visit us in Arizona. She was passionate about seeing the Grand Canyon and we were excited to be the tour guides and make it happen. So the 4 of us headed to Flagstaff to spend the night to head for the Canyon in the morning. We awoke to see that during the night there had been a signification snow storm. Tom (Davy Crocket), said never fear, I will get you there. As he was shoveling the car from under the snow, it was announced that the Park Rangers closed access to the Grand Canyon. Anne never let us forget how disappointed she was.
