Frank
For the first five years of my now 27, I had the distinct privilege of living right next door to my Great-Uncle Guy and Great and Ruby - in the house my Grandad and Grandmother (The late younger brother to Guy, Calvin J Dimsey) built themeslves as said in the tribute....I never got the chance to know my grandfather, but I was given (along with the ability to live in the same house my aunt, uncles and late mother - Cynthia or "Cindi" had grown up in right next door to their cousins and aunt and uncle) the great consolation of having Uncle Guy and Aunt Ruby "fill in".... Like Uncle Guy helping my 3 and 4 year old self pick tomatoes, or giving me a thrill seeker's ride on his tractor or the occasional peanut butter "sandwich" courtesy of Aunt Ruby. He told me great stories about growing up with his siblings in Vienna (More like Dimsey-ville), and I'll never forget the goodbye hug he gave a 5 year old me when our family moved (I nearly suffocated).
My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Cousin's Bruce and Alice and their children and grandchildren - the loss of a parent at any age is heartbreaking and difficult. My most sincere prayers and thoughts are with you with hopes that the clouds of grief and sorrow part for all of you to show the sunshine and clear skies from which all the passed Dimseys are looking down upon us. They all keep us "in check" somehow and ensure we tow the Dimsey line.
With Heartfelt Prayers and Love,
Frank D. Pelli Jr
(Grandson of the late Calvin J. Dimsey, Son of the late Cynthia Dimsey-Marie Pelli)
