I only have had a short decade and a half of having the oppurtunity of knowing Harry Brown. What a loving husband to his second wife, freind, and neighbor. Always ready with a direct answer to a question, love of the natural world and dogs. No matter what was his challenges in life he was always ever ready to help everyone. My life is better having known Harry.

I knew Harry Brown in Flagstaff in the 1970’s as Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 31. Mr. Brown personified the Spirit of Scouting’s ideals of service and conservation. He led many through the ranks of Scouting inspiring values and respect. Harry Brown was Flagstaff’s Citizen of the Year. Harry Brown is a Grand Canyon hiking legend. Mr. Brown will always be a guiding light.
