Henry Patrick Mahoney's Obituary
Henry Patrick Mahoney, 73, of Ashburn, VA passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at home. Henry was born on October 10, 1938 in Boston, MA. He was a son of the late Henry P. Mahoney and the late Esther White Mahoney. Henry served his country honorably in the United States Navy from 1956 to 1959, and continued to serve his country as an Administration Officer in the Central Intelligence Agency from 1966 to 1990. Following retirement from the government, Henry worked in the private sector for Ogden Allied and Emcor Government Services.
He is survived by his wife Carol Lee Mahoney, five children, Denise Rouch and husband William, Christine Anderson and husband Jon, Michele Solini and husband Joseph, Michael Mahoney and wife Dawn, Heather Jackman and husband Michael; and sister, Susan Cochrane.
He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; Patrick, Michael, Ryan, Dan Mahoney, Justin, Mallory, Brenna, Dylan Anderson; Rachael, Hannah, Zachary, Grace, Emma, Sarah, Jack Solini; Connor, Benjamin Rouch.
Henry was preceded in death by his brother Robert Mahoney.
Friends may call on Monday July 30th from 5 to 8 pm, for a memorial visitation at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA.
A funeral mass will follow on Tuesday , July 31th at 10am at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 46833 Harry Byrd Highway, Sterling, VA 20164.
Interment will be held privately by the family.
