I have many fond memories of Jean but one stands out in my mind. My husband and I were taking care of Paul..then 2 ...while Doris and David were on a much deserved vacation. Jean and I thought it would be fun for us to have lunch together sharing time with our delightful little grandson. So, she and I met at the Macaroni Grill for lunch. While we wanted to have polite conversation Paul had other ideas. He was under the table, on the table, and at other tables. He was on Jean's lap, then my lap, he wanted her food, then my food but not his own food. He did all this with a great sense of fun....we realized, because he loved us and was having a great time. We laughed a lot.
Devoted to her loving family, Jean was a person of generosity, kindness, thoughtfulness and inner beauty. May she rest in peace.
