From our first meeting to our last game of dominoes (which Jimmy dominated) we shared a special connection and friendship with Jimmy and Sylva. He was larger than life and his many experiences led to great stories and discussions embedded with wit and wisdom.
We feel his loss every day, but are thankful for the time we spent with each of you. If we could ask him one more time, “Jimmy, how are you doing?” I am sure he’d boldly reply, “Great!”
We give our love to you, Sylva, and all your family. His love and pride in each of you was true and everlasting. May his strength and hope in this life give each of you strength and hope through this time of loss.

Sylvia, I was sad to hear of your loss. Jimmy was a regular in joining our class of '56 zoom reunions and he will be missed. We have a great class and his joining us in our zoom sessions was such a pleasure. May your heart be filled with comforting memories of a live well lived.

I will never forget going to Uncle Jimmy's and Aunt Sylva's house in Peculiar, Missouri as a young kid to stay and have fun with Anthony. They have always been a gracious and fun couple. I do, however, remember having to say no to the pickled trout that Sylva offered me.....I would probably still have to say no to that! I was always proud of his service, like my father's, and will never forget his great smile! Condolences to the family......Mark and Sharon Jones
