I was floored when Michele passed the information on John's death. I imagine I'm the last person you expect to hear from, but I loved John and the family. He and I shared a passion for flying, and he had his passion for golf. I have always missed him and missed sharing stories with him. He will be sorely missed by the family. My condolences go out to you guys, Bob, Tim, Christie, and Peg. I haven't always been a very good brother-in-law, but I've always looked up to and genuinely liked John. May he rest in eternal peace. I know he is already soaring through the heavens.
I remember going to the Air and Space museum near Dulles with my hubby and Raymond way before the twins. I was with Peggy and she showed us the plane that John had worked. the plane at the time was retired and displayed in the hanger museum. such a hard working, smart man. He came to our house for Raymond's 2nd birthday and we enjoyed his company. Not to mention all of Aunt Mary's Chirstmas Eve dinner.....I treasure all the visits we had. We love and support you, Peggy and family!
