Dearest Jeanette and Henry,and Liz,,and family.....I have a special memory of John,from when you lived in Absecon,adjacent to Dawn.I one sunny summer day,decicded to take Rachel,Ryan,John and Liz,on The Miss America Super fast Speedboat,off the shore of Atlantic City.It was a small group,and the Captain decided to go fast,and thrill us all,BUT the water was rough,so it was more like a roller coaster ride!!Rachel and Liz giggled,and I,,Ryan,and John,were numb!!.We were supposed to all relax,smile at those far off sunbathers on the,A.C. beach,catching rays,and even ,were promised,that we were certain to see a few dancing dolphins!!Well besides getting sunburned,all of us,became beet red,,and we literally jumped over,some very ,ROUGH waves!!.Rachel and Liz loved it,I,Ryan and John,were white as ghosts,and when we all arrived back at Gardners Basin,John and Ryan and I said ,finally,"we are back on land!" and Rachel and Liz said, lets go again!!!.,and John asked, Aunt Chris,is there any other ways to see dancing dolphins,besides going 100 mph on a speedboat,and Ryan agreed,and asked the same!!!So Rachel and Liz remarked,well we,still want to go again,and now!!,because we saw no dolphins,and???? I was ready to go,and forget about dolphins,and the Capt. of the MISS AMERICA SPEEDBOAT,felt bad,and they refunded our money! Liz and Rach,asked,Ryan and John,want to go again,and together they responded in unison,"we would rather go to a zoo,and see animals (and dolphins!!!),in a cage,then do that again!!!We never went again,nor visited a zoo,but I have a photo of that memorable day,and if I locate it,I will get a few copies made,for the Gregory family.To this day,it is a favorite summertime memory,that I as Rachel and Ryans ,"Aunt Chris",will treasure forever.John,heaven is a better place now,that you have arrived,and have joined some of my most favorite and most loved family up there with you....and ,I am certain,you all are in the front row,and the VIP seats.You are all in my prayers ,thoughts,and and will be.With Sympathy ,and love,your friend,Chris Thomas,Egg Harbor Township,New Jersey (Dawn Loyles sister)

I wish I'd gotten to know John, but I know he was a wonderful man, as were his grandparents, parents, siblings, & extended House family members. He is with the angels now. They say, when a saint enters heaven, there is a terrible storm on earth. June 13th was one of those stormy days, that sadly kept some of us away, when we wanted to be there, to share in his life's celebration. Our thoughts & prayers are with you Jeanette, Henry & family.
