John Franklin Tabor Jr.'s Obituary
John Franklin Tabor Jr., 54, of Leesburg, Virginia passed away unexpectedly on August 1, 2023.
John was born on October 7, 1968, in Sanford, Florida to the late John F. Tabor, Sr. and Elizabeth George.
John is survived by his stepfather Logan George, his loving wife Michelle Flynn, his children, Casey L. Tabor (Laura) and James J. Flynn III (Kristin), his siblings Benjamin George (Jennifer) and Lorinda Brown (Roderick), and his adored grandchildren Tripp, Tyler, Brody, and Zoe. Along with many other family and friends.
John lived a life marked by integrity, compassion, and determination. He was an Eagle Scout, embodying the principles of leadership, service, and preparedness that the esteemed title represents. John moved to the Washington, DC area to serve his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1989 and happily worked in the IT profession for 34 years. John was an avid flyer and photographer and loved sharing his passions with others.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cir. SE Leesburg, VA 20175. He will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery on August 8, 2025 at 9:00am.
