My husband was diagnosed of Parkinsons disease 2 years ago, when he was 49. He had a stooped posture, tremors, right arm does not move and also a pulsating feeling in his body. I've known Joe my entire life- he was part of my second family and the step-father to my eldest friend.
He always talked to me like I was part of the family and was that person that did those little things... like small, simple, but YOU gifts on little holidays so you knew he was always thinking about you.

I grew up running through their house with Jen- hiding in his closet when we weren't supposed to. But he never yelled. He never got angry. He'd laugh at us.
He loved Linda and Jen more than the moon loves the night. He never made me feel like I didn't fit because I walked a different path. The world lost a beautiful soul, but I'm happy he is finally at peace.
I just picture him sitting with other loved ones, smiling and watching us.
Bringing us those little moments of beauty we need to remind us to just breathe and smile at the world.

I love you Joe. Your family has been "home" for me since I could walk.
"I carry your heart, I carry it in my heart."

worked for him maintaining his garden. He always rewarded us with a good tip, always very kind, just like his beloved wife. May God have him in his holy glory.
