Twelve years have passed since you left, and the ache in my heart remains as deep as ever.
You joined the pillars of our family, mom and dad, and though time moves forward, the pain still feels fresh. I strive each day to embody the grace, strength, and goodness that you all lived so effortlessly. It’s not always easy, because you were truly the best.
Though I can no longer speak to you in this world, I find comfort in our conversations in dreams and in the reflection I see in the mirror, where your spirit lives on in me. Heaven gained a winning team when God called you home.
I pray you’re resting in peace, and I hold onto the hope that you, mom, and dad are watching over me as my guardian angels.
