Doesn't seem that it can be 7 years today that Karen went to Heaven. She was such a gentle soul, sooo smart, & just loved her hubby & my niece & nephew. She was a great sister-in-law. Sending love to you all & prayers for her in Heaven on this anniversary of her passing.
A Valentine Wish - 28 years ago I knew you were the one. it wasn't your incredible brown eyes, your long sweeping brown hair, your sultry voice, or even your pulchritudinous smile. It was your sense of humor, followed by your infectious laugh. Your knowledge of everything. your caring, sharing, the clothes you were wearing. your talent in painting, quilting, drawing, etc, etc...Most of all the two beautiful children you and God created. I met Karen when I was 20 years old and we were both summer interns at Texaco, where our fathers worked. After that summer we kept in touch, and one time I went up to Casper to spend the weekend with her. She was my bridesmaid at my wedding. We spent many hours talking about God, church, family and our hopes and dreams.
I lost touch with Karen until she found me on Facebook shortly before she was diagnosed with cancer. We enjoyed catching up after all these years, and it was enjoyable to see that Karen hadn't changed much. I have fond memories of her, and I am sure she was an amazing wife and mother.##imported-begin##Pam King##imported-end##
