Karen Bliss Bandhold's Obituary
KAREN BLISS BANDHOLD, 58, of Leesburg, Virginia since 2003 died on Monday, December 20, 2010 at home with her family by her side. Mrs. Bandhold was born July 28th 1952 in Lubbock, Texas to the late Tommy and Wanda Owen Bliss. She attended Casper College in Wyoming, Front Range Community College and Colorado University. Mrs. Bandhold worked with The Noble Collection in Dulles, Virginia since 2003. She loved arts and crafts, painting, reading and had a gift for writing. Mrs. Bandhold was living in the Boulder, Colorado area before moving to Leesburg.
Mrs. Bandhold is survived by her beloved husband of 26 years, Donald C. Bandheld of Leesburg; two children: Ryan and Kristen Bandhold of Leesburg; a brother: Rev. John Bliss of Greeley, Colorado and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call on Thursday, December 23rd 2010 from 11:30am until 12:30 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00pm at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 101 Oak Crest Manor Drive, Leesburg, VA. Interment will be in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery.
