As a classmate (LCHS 1960) of Kathy's, I did not know her well in school, but later in life found her to be a quiet, genuinely kind and courageous soul. She was definitely a family-oriented person, and did not want to be in the spotlight. I was inspired by her handling of her battle with lymphoma. Can only imagine what she went through. My sincerest sympathies go out to Lawrence, Shirley, the children in their sorrow. She was taken too soon.
May you rest in perfect peace.

Always sad to hear of the loss of another life long resident of Lovettsville. Condolence to the family, especially to Shirley Mae, who was so kind to visit my brother (Larry Reed) and help at his funeral just last year. I hope your memories will heal your hearts until you meet again. In Christian Love, Nancy Reed Large
Kathy was my secretary at Agriculture for several years. She was wonderful, anticipating my needs, handling our budget, and altering me to problems that needed my attention. I considered her a trusted friend. She was smart, funny, and always gracious. While she loved her job, her family, rightfully, always came first. My deepest sympathy to all her family.

We moved into our third home in Lovettsville on May of 59. I am not sure, but believe that Luther, Annabelle, Kathy and Shirley moved next to us within a year or two. Good neighbors and friends for a long time. It did not matter how long between running into each other, Kathy always had a hug and a smile and a laugh to share - R.I.P, lovely lady! My deepest heartfelt sympathy to Lawrence, Shirley and all the children, grandchildren and family and friends. Cathy Hatcher Breeden
