Kathy G. Weyzen's Obituary
Mrs. Kathy G. Weyzen, age 59, passed away on January 5, 2014 in Winchester, VA. Kathy was born on December 22, 1954 in Leesburg, VA. She was a daughter of the late Donlan John Gletner and Mrs. Barbara L. Frye Gletner of Lovettsville, VA.
Kathy was proud to be employed with the Washington Redskins for nearly twenty years, as a Scouting Assistant.
In addition to her mom, Kathy is survived by her husband Roelof L. Weyzen of Lovettsville, her sister Mary Kay & Turner Kobayashi of Berryville, VA, her brother Donny Gletner of Shepherdstown, WV, brothers-in-laws: Jerry and Kathy Weyzen of Ashburn, VA, Frank and Trish Weyzen of Bowie, MD, Peter Weyzen of Felton, CA; her buddy Jack; plus several nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Friends may call on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA.
Funeral services will begin at 11 am on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, Mountain Road, Lovettsville, VA.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made in Kathy’s memory to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research Church St. Station P.O. Box 780, New York, NY 10008; or the American Cancer Society for Colon cancer research.
