in honor of Lawrence.

Larry was one of a kind....and very kind. I met him in 1983 at Fairfax County Government when from his Zoning work he opened many doors for people with disabilities with his compassion, his sparkle and his strong advocacy for justice and fair treatment. He helped us laugh when times were tough as the CSB opened group homes in the community. He wore green ties on St Patrick's Day and loved us whether we were Irish or not. Mike Finkle and I enjoyed many good times with Kate and Larry and John and Rosa. We could never be as organized or clean as Larry, but always felt warm in his presence. He will be missed, but left his mark in our hearts and those that were helped because of his tenacious efforts to accept others. He is now our angel, just like always.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathies. My heart goes out to the family. Death is something we will never get use to. In fact, God's Word refers to death as an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) It is comforting to know that very soon our loving Heavenly Father, Jehovah God, will remove death once and for all and give us the opportunity to see our loved ones again here on the earth.
