Matthew Aaron Bradley's Obituary
Matthew Aaron Bradley, 37 of Leesburg, Virginia passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at his home in Leesburg, VA.
Born Wednesday, September 9,1981 in Newport News,Virginia, he was the son of Walter Bradley and Mary(Ball)Bohnaker.
Matt graduated in December 2004 from West Virginia University with two Bachelor of Science degrees - Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Matt began working for the United States Patent and Trademark Office in March 2005. He was a Primary Patent Examiner and proudly served in the Memory Access and Control Unit. He also completed his Masters of Business Administration in May 2010 from George Mason University.
An avid WVU Mountaineer, Matt loved to cheer on WVU's football and basketball teams, travel, go to concerts, listen to House/techno music, cook, ski, track the weather, go to the beach, find (and fix) the coolest toys for his nieces, play video games, and work on his car and motorcycle. A gentle and thoughtful spirit, Matt was always quick to help anyone in need and always found ways to make everyone around him feel valued and loved. A kid at heart, Matt was also witty and loved jokes and pranks. His family will never be the same without him, but knows he is with the Lord and will be reunited together again in heaven one day.
Matt is survived by his parents Walter Bradley and mother Mary(husband James) Bohnaker, sister Amy (husband Daniel) Barrett, and two nieces Noelle Rae Barrett and Evalee James Barrett, as well as, his beloved dog Rusty.
A memorial service of prayers and thanksgiving will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday July 20, 2019 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle SE Leesburg, VA 20176.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Matt's honor to The Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation (www.lostdogrescue.org).
