Maureen Leon's Obituary
MAUREEN O’DONNELL LEON, 47, of Broadlands, Virginia passed peacefully on Friday, July 16th 2010 at her home with her family by her side. Mrs. Leon was born December 19th 1962 in Syracuse, NY. She received her Bachelors in nursing from Georgetown University. Mrs. Leon was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Ashburn, Virginia.
Mrs. Leon is survived by her beloved husband Ralph A. Leon, MD of Broadlands, VA; four children: Meaghan Olivia Leon, Alicia Alessandra Leon, Caroline Elizabeth Leon and Andrew Joseph Leon all of Broadlands; her parents: Edward M. and Catherine Phillips O’Donnell of Syracuse, NY; two brothers: E.M. O’Donnell, III of Anchorage, Alaska, Patrick Kevin O’Donnell of Irvington, NY; In laws: Ralph and Olga Leon of Ashburn, Virginia and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call on Monday, July 19th 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Tuesday, July 20th 2010 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 21370 St. Theresa Lane, Ashburn, VA. Interment will follow in St. John the Apostle Catholic Cemetery, Leesburg, Virginia.
