Maximus James Brook Knight's Obituary
Maximus James Brook Knight, 47 of Ashburn, VA passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014, at INOVA Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia.
Max was born on Sunday, November 27, 1966 in Trinidad and Tobago. He was the son of Peter Knight and the late Catherine Jeremiah Knight. He served his country in the United States Navy for over 6 years and fought in Dessert Storm. He obtained his Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Technology in 2007 from the University of Phoenix. He also held several certificates, such as:
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Federal IT Security Professional-Manager (FITSP/M)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA)
• Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA)
• Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE)
• Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Ashburn, Virginia.
Max leaves his family to cherish his memory including his wife Louanna E. Knight; his three daughters, Catherine Brook Knight of Charleston, SC, Madeline Leeanna Knight and Maya Jocelyn Knight of Ashburn, VA. He also leaves his granddaughter Gracie Lee to cherish his memory. In addition to his father, Peter Knight, he is also survived by his father and mother- in- law, Edwin and Shirley Baptist of Springfield, VA and his brother and sister-in-law, John and Louisa Atchison as well as his brother, Terrence Lazrus.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, June 8, 2014, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, Virginia.
A Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 9, 2014 at St. Theresa Catholic Church located at 21371 St. Theresa Lane Ashburn, Virginia 20147. Interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to help defray final expenses.
