Rest in peace, Maxine. Your Christmas Card and the sight of you in your elegant clothes are missed. I send condolences to the family. Mildred Thompson Nichols, Providence, Rhode Island
My condolences and deepest sympathy are extended to the family of Mrs. Maxine Phillips. Also, I am sending prayers to the family for strength and comfort as you go through this time of bereavement. Mrs. Maxine was truly a strong figure in my life growing up Loudoun County and particularly in my childhood days in Hamilton, VA. When I moved out of Loudoun County, I always appreciated her sending me the weekly bulletins from Mt. Zion Hamilton UMC to keep me posted on the events at the Church. I will always remember Mrs. Maxine and her late husband, Mr. Arthur Phillips, for the great dedication they had for one another and the faith in God they exhibited in their daily lives.
