Paul Lanigan's Obituary
PAUL LANIGAN, 74, Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather of Martinsburg, WV, formerly of North Salem, NY died on Wednesday December 16, 2009 in Martinsburg. Mr. Lanigan was born June 29th, 1935 in Manhattan, NY to the late James and Bridget Cussen Lanigan. His brothers, James and John and his sister, Mary also predeceased him. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Martinsburg.
Mr. Lanigan is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Mrs. Catherine Mary Lanigan of Martinsburg; three children: Mary Lanigan (Tim Golden) of Clarksville, TN, Donna Gleason (Edward) of Leesburg, VA, Paul M. Lanigan (Lauri) of Purcellville, VA; one sister: Joan Hillen (John) of Blauvelt, NY; seven grandchildren: Kathleen and Jonathan Gleason, Casey and Timothy Lanigan, Sara, Adam and Rachel Golden and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call on Monday December 21st 2009 from 2-4pm at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE Leesburg, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John’s the Apostle Catholic Church (Chapel of the Immaculate Conception) 231 North King Street in Leesburg on Tuesday December 22 at 10:30am. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
