Paul Roger Simons 's Obituary
Paul Roger Simons, Jr., 79, of Sterling, VA, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at his home in Sterling, VA.
He is the son of the late Paul Roger and Nellie (Tinney) Simons
Roger served in the United States Air Force, prior to his position as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service for 27 years, from which he retired. In the 1990s, he and his son, Brett, owned and operated B&R Sportscards in Sterling. Roger coached little league soccer, was an avid sports memorabilia collector, loved the Washington Redskins and was a West Virginia Mountaineer Sports enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife: Patricia Ann (McCloud) Simons, daughter Traci (Carlos) Simons Infante of Sterling, son Brett Simons (fiancé Kathryn Henderson) of Herndon two granddaughters: Gabriela Grace de la Cruz and Gracie Ann Infante, sister Nancy (Jorge) Simons Sanchez, two brothers: Frank (Patty) Simons and Earnest (Cherie) “Ernie” Simons and several nieces and nephews.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Mark and Larry Simons and a sister Shirley Valle.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday April 2, 2017 2:00PM at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, VA. A visitation will be held from 1:00PM till the time of the services. Chaplain John Boyle will be officiating.
