Paul "Benny" Cooke, Jr.'s Obituary
Paul B. “Benny” Cooke, Jr., 61, a lifetime resident of Northern Virginia, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2011 surrounded by his loving family.
Born July 26, 1949 in Augusta, GA; a son of the late Paul Bennett Cooke and the late Rita Concepta Murphy Cooke. He grew up in Arlington, VA and graduated from Bishop O’Connell High School. Benny later went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force before starting his career in heavy construction. He worked as a construction consultant on many projects in the Washington, D.C. area, most recently working at Dulles International Airport.
He is survived by his son, Aaron Cooke, daughters, Tiffany Marquess and Shawni Harvey; sisters, Rita “Muffie” Herring and Pamela Cooke Estabrook; brothers, Johnny Cooke and Bobby Cooke; five grandsons and a sixth grandchild on the way.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, January 28, 2011 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175. The family will receive guests prior to the service from 6 to 7 pm.
Interment will be held privately at a later date.
