I am so so sad today, reading this. Rich (or as I called him Mr Gallagher, and he always told me please call me Rich) did our taxes for the last gosh 15 years. I always looked forward to talking with him each year. He always put a smile on our faces. We were put in touch with him from another great man Bob Walters. 2 amazing men. Our hearts hurt for the loss of a great man! Prayers to the entire family. Please let us know when celebration of life happens so we can honor his legacy. Rich was truly like a second father to me, always watching over me with a protective spirit. He had an incredible willingness to lend a hand whenever I found myself in need, and his guidance was invaluable, especially when he taught me how to navigate driving safely in difficult weather conditions.

I’ll always cherish the time he spent with my son, patiently helping him overcome obstacles with gentle encouragement. Rich had a special talent for training and calming even the most strong-willed dogs, using his soothing voice to bring out their best. He had a remarkable ability to make me laugh, always sharing his funny sayings that brightened my days. His kindness and warmth will always be remembered.

Rich was one unique guy. He was very generous and loved to share his love of bar-b-que, coffee, liquors, wines, with everyone. He was famous for his pictures of meat smoking efforts in the middle of snow storms. We were glad to have shared time with him in Leesburg, Williamsburg, Hilton Head, and maybe other places. His son Dan is a great legacy for him to have fathered.
