Richard Christopher Siegert's Obituary
On Saturday, November 11, 2017, Richard Christopher Siegert died peacefully surrounded by his family after a 15 month battle with multiple myeloma. Throughout his treatment, he was positive, brave and always put others before himself.
Born June 16, 1960, Rick was the oldest of four children of Richard and Barbara Siegert. His memory will forever be cherished by his daughters, Kristin Siegert, Laura LaFlame (Trent) and Essence Dashtaray. He is also survived by his mother Barbara Siegert; sister Katherine Stryck; niece Tiffany Stryck and a number of loving family and friends.
A man of many interests, Richard was passionate about playing golf and poker with his buddies, watching Villanova basketball, and always had a home improvement project going on, but most importantly, he loved spending time with his girls.
We will forever be grateful to the caring and loving staff at Inova Fairfax Hospital and the compassionate hospice team.
A celebration of Richard’s life will be held on December 1st from 1pm to 4pm at River Bend Golf and Country Club.
