Robert was one of my mentors getting involved with Farm Bureau, and as a farmer in general! I miss seeing him around the Farm Bureau table, and also talking farm equipment as we would stand around at auctions! His stories about growing up farming in Loudoun were always a treat to hear...especially as a first generation farmer. Definitely a pillar of our farming community here in Loudoun, and we all miss him!
Robert made friends and supported his community with joy and generosity. He loved his family, he was devoted to his wife, loved his grandchildren, and his daughters. He was a devoted farmer and cattleman who set an example to all who knew him. He made me laugh and made me glad to be his neighbor. My memories are too many to list and will share privately. May his memory be a blessing.
