Robert Elgin Carr's Obituary
ROBERT ELGIN CARR, 91, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at his home in Waterford, VA.
Born Thursday, June 22, 1933, in Leesburg, VA he was the son of the late John Carr and the late Edna McPherson Carr. He was the husband of the late Barbara Douglas Carr.
Robert leaves many to cherish his memory, including daughters Virginia C Lucas, Tracie Little and Lynn Dieterle, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Robert was well known in Loudoun County after having grown up in the county and graduated from Leesburg High School. Following high school he attended and graduated from Virginia Tech. After several years away and working various sales jobs, Robert returned to Loudoun with his young family and reestablished himself as an active member of the community.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday April 5, 2025 at Catoctin Presbyterian Church, 15565 High St, Waterford, VA 20197. Interment will happen privately at Leesburg Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
