Dearest Jeannette - We are so sorry to read the e-mail notice of Bob's passing. He is now resting in God's beautiful hands in comfort. Just know that God now wraps his gentle arms around you and all of the familes with the same comfort that Bob is enjoying. Dear Jeanette, Mildred e-mailed me with the sad news of Bob's passing. Eileen and I both send our hearfelt sympathy. We will be in N.Y. on the 15th so will not be able to attend the memorial service.
I remember the first time I met Bob. Delia Caldwell and I had to go over to where Bob then worked in Reston to pick up a birthday cake that one of his coworkers had made for a birthday in the Library.
He was a funny man and I always got a kick when he would answer the phone at 5:30 in the AM when I called to let you know I wasn't coming to work that day. I know your family will be a great support. I wish there was more that I could do. When you are feeling up to it, please think about comin7g out for a visit.

Dear Jeanette,

We were so very sorry to hear of Bob's death and we want you to know that you and your/his families are in our prayers. Both of us enjoyed meeting and talking with him at your "Bulb Festival" and a few other times.
We admired his craftmanship and caring ways. I know how much you loved him and nothing could take his place, I know. It's good to have the memories of your years together.
