Roelof Leonardis Weyzen's Obituary
Roel Weyzen died peacefully at home on June 23 in Lovettsville, Virginia, USA at age 63. Roel was survived by Jerry and Kathy Weyzen of Ashburn Virginia, Frank and Trish Weyzen of Bowie, Maryland, Peter Weyzen of Felton, California, nephew Joe Weyzen of Reston, Virgnia, and countless loving and loyal friends. Roel is also survived by his significant other Teri Goulet. Roel was preceded in death by his wife Kathy Gletner Weyzen, his nephew Robert Weyzen and his parents Walter and Trudy Weyzen.
Roel was born in Leiden, The Netherlands on January 21, 1955. Roel was known to many as an auto mechanic, a skilled carpenter, and a jack of all trades. He was also known to only wear jeans, pocket T’s and flannel shirts. Roel was a avid fan of auto racing and The Redskins. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 4-7pm at Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, Va.
