Rose Marie Fagerli's Obituary
Mrs. Rose Marie Fagerli, 77, of Leesburg, VA, formerly of Vienna, Sterling, and Fredericksburg, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2009. Rose was born on February 28, 1931 in Altoona, PA. The fourth of five siblings, Rose was a daughter of the late Daniel D. Carey, Sr. and the late Mary E. Hoffman. Mrs. Fagerli was employed as a school secretary with Fairfax County Public Schools for over fifteen years, retiring in 1991. In retirement, she spent a number of years as a greeter at Chancellors Village in Fredericksburg.
She and her husband of 51 years, Olaf H. Fagerli, relocated to Leisure World of Leesburg for the last year.
She is survived by her three sons, Olaf H. Fagerli, Jr. and his wife Dianne of Boca Raton, FL, Daniel S. Fagerli and his wife Amy of Leesburg,VA, and Julian C. Fagerli and his wife Nicole of Charlottesville, VA.
She was the proud grandmother of Kirsten Paige, Ross Daniel, Eric Andrew, Anna Elizabeth, Owen Bruce, and Caroline Grace.
Friends may call on Monday, January 12, 2009 from 7 to 9 pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175.
The family will also receive friends on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009 from 12:30 to 1:30pm at the funeral home.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, at 2:00 pm at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, on the corner of King and Union Street, Leesburg, VA.
Interment will follow in St. Johns Cemetery.
