Dear Ruth:
I was thinking about "old" Ashburn and how close all our families were. How all us (kids) at that time was safe to walk the streets because of neighbors like you.. I remember walking to school and seeing you out in your yard working. You always said hello and would talk to me. I always had respect for you because you were, kind, loving and very caring. You were greatly loved, But God wanted you with him to enjoy your new life of peace. God bless you our dear friend. You will always be missed. Rest in Peace.

Ruth was a very graceful woman with a lot of love for all. Long time friends with my mom and taught me in Sunday school over 50 years ago. Such a sprit filled lady with the love in her heart for the Lord and a blessing she was. I am sure that all Gods angels are with her family and friends. Ruth was always there for me , my mom and birth of my son and granddaughter. For births, weddings and my moms funeral. you could count on Ruth . I love you Ruth and you will be very much missed. I haved lived in Ashburn since 1966. Ruth was an inspiration to me and my family. She was a very hard worker and active in the church. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone. She will be missed. She was one of the Ashburn pillars

I was surprized to hear of Ruth's death I thought she was still in Florida She was a wonderful person always giving She meant so much to her family and friends She had a wonderful friend named Marie Pool, whose handicapped son I was lucky to care for, for 4 years Ruth had us over for dinner many times She loved people and was always giving. teaching and loving everyone she'll be missed
