Ryan David Foster, 27, of Hamilton, VA, passed away in a car accident on Saturday, January 17, 2015.
Born on May 20, 1987 in Washington, DC he was the son of Steven David Foster and Marcia Renee Beach Foster. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings: Jessica and Erin Foster; aunt: Regina Beach; and grandparents: Edie Rokus, Mary Lou Beach, Joy and Dave Schmedel. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, William "Papa Bill" Currin, of Amarillo, TX.
Ryan graduated from Loudoun Valley High School in 2005 and was a lead contractor for Foster-Herz, Inc. He loved playing hockey and was a member of the Dulles Hockey Gold League. He was passionate about family and friends and loved fiercely. Like most boys his age, he loved ninjas, dragons and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
A memorial service was held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel with Rev. Katrina Farwig officiating.
Ryan loved playing hockey and would skate for hours in the driveway as a child. Having burned through many hockey sticks in his youth, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of "Ryan Foster, #68" to the USA Hockey Foundation's "It Starts with a Stick" campaign -https://usahockeyfoundation.sportngin.com/register/form/660426642.
