Scott Alan Landrum's Obituary
Mr. Scott Alan Landrum, age 45, of Sterling, VA, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2012. Scott was born on September 19, 1966 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was the son of Sylvester Landrum and the late Myrna A. Klatt. Scott served his country honorably in the US Marine Corp for eight and a half years. He was a decorated war veteran serving in Desert Storm, Iraq, Somalia, Panama and Kuwait receiving a Purple Heart and Silver Star.
Scott was employed as a Senior Technician with Cardinal Heating and Cooling in Sterling, VA.
His favorite hobbies were photography and fishing with his children.
He was an active member of Christian Fellowship Church in Ashburn for the past eight years and taught at the Bereans Sunday School class frequently.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of eighteen years, Julia Medvidovich Landrum; his five children: Joshua Connor Alan Landrum, Jessica Nichole Landrum, Jordan Elise Landrum, Elijah David Landrum, Isaiah John Landrum; his father, Sylvester Landrum and step mom: Gwendolyn Burton Landrum of Atlanta, GA; he also leaves his brother, Michael Anthony Landrum of Atlanta, GA, and sister, Andrea Landrum of Minneapolis, MN; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, a great niece and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, 10, 2012 from 7 to 9 pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012, 11AM at Christian Fellowship Church. Graveside services and interment will be held on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 10 am, at Quantico National Cemetery, Quantico, VA.
