I extend my deepest sympathy to the Sinclair family at this time of sorrow and loss, most particularly, to Catherine, my probation officer in the Fairfax Circuit Court for many years. The passing of this fine man of elegance, intelligence, humor, and compassion will be mourned by all who knew him. His service as a member of the judiciary was exemplary.##imported-begin##Rosemarie Annunziata##imported-end##
Judge Sinclair had a tremendous sense of humor and was always a wonderful Master of Ceremonies at many Bar functions. He was an excellent Judge who possessed a lot of compassion for those who appeared before him.##imported-begin##William Schmidt##imported-end##
Arthur Sinclair was a gentleman's gentleman, a thoughtful, wise and cordial judge with a sparkling wit, and a thoroughly decent human being. No finer man ever graced the bench in the Commonwealth. The passing of this legendary and delightful man leaves a void in the Northern Virginia legal community which cannot be filled. May he rest in peace.##imported-begin##Joe Condo##imported-end##
I had the honor and pleasure of frequently appearing before Judge Sinclair during his long and outstanding career as one of the best trial judges in the history of the Commonwealth.
He was warm and cordial; he was intelligent with good common sense; and perhaps most importantly, he had a marvelous sense of humor which relaxed both jury and attorneys. May he rest in peace##imported-begin##John J. Brandt##imported-end##
